These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vocanel AI, operated by SORENA TEKNOLOJI YAZILIM TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI ("we", "our", or "us") at vocanel.com. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the service.

1. Voice Consent Policy

By submitting a voice recording to Vocanel AI, you confirm and agree to the following:

  • ✓ The voice recording is your own voice, or you have explicit permission from the voice owner to use it.
  • ✓ You consent to Vocanel AI processing your voice recording using AI technology to generate transformed audio outputs.
  • ✓ You will not use this service to impersonate real people, public figures, or any individual without their explicit consent.
  • ✓ You will not use generated audio for fraud, harassment, defamation, or any illegal purpose.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service. By using Vocanel AI, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Vocanel AI to:

  • Impersonate real people, celebrities, or public figures without consent.
  • Create fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading audio content.
  • Generate content that harasses, threatens, or defames individuals.
  • Produce content that is illegal, obscene, or violates third-party rights.
  • Circumvent platform security measures or abuse the credit system.
  • Use automated tools to generate bulk content without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our service.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the service without our written permission.

4. Data Retention Policy

Audio files — Input and output audio files are stored for a maximum of 30 days from the date of creation. After this period, audio files are permanently deleted from our servers. Database records may be retained for analytics purposes.

Account data — Your account information is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Guest sessions — Guest session data is stored temporarily and linked to your browser session. It is not associated with any personal identity.

5. Audio Watermark Policy

Free-tier outputs include an audio watermark ("Made with Vocanel AI AI") appended to the end of the generated audio. This watermark is removed for paid plan subscribers. The watermark serves as attribution and helps prevent misuse of AI-generated audio.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original voice recordings. Vocanel AI and its underlying technology, trademarks, and service marks are the exclusive property of SORENA TEKNOLOJI YAZILIM TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI. Vocanel AI retains the right to use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models. Generated outputs are provided for your personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SORENA TEKNOLOJI YAZILIM TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Turkey. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service.
